This license is unique in its type and scope and authorizes the Company to conduct a comprehensive range of activities across the oil, gas, energy, and related derivative sectors, with no equivalent or competing license of the same classification anywhere in the region.
Gulf Tanker Company is legally authorized to operate both within and outside the State of Kuwait under a single consolidated regulatory framework that includes six integrated activities covering the full oil and energy value chain.
The regulatory nature and breadth of this authorization place the Company in a strategic and distinguished position, reflecting a semi state-aligned operational structure and enabling it to operate in full compliance with applicable national regulations and internationally recognized industry standards.
The Company is engaged in the sale, supply, trading, and commercialization of crude oil, refined petroleum products, natural gas, and all categories of oil and gas derivatives, serving governmental, institutional, and commercial counterparties across regional and international markets.
Under its licensed authority, Gulf Tanker Company may act as a principal, supplier, seller, commercial agent, or cooperation partner, and is authorized to participate in and execute tender-based works, structured commercial transactions, and contractual mandates related to its approved activities.
Furthermore, Gulf Tanker Company may represent qualified international companies as their commercial agent within the State of Kuwait, or cooperate with counterparties seeking a fully compliant legal and operational entry into the Kuwaiti oil and energy sector.

Shipping is a risky business. If charterers wish to limit their corporate liability.They must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the ships are being properly operated and will be in a suitable condition to embark on the voyage in safety.
